So you’ve decided to buy a new stock of bottles but you’re still left with old stock. You’re probably looking for interesting ways to recycle plastic bottles. We have some great ways that you can recycle yours.
- Sensory bottles – If you have a child to keep occupied then plastic bottles can be used for many different things. For example making your own sensory bottles. You can find out how to make yours in one of our previous blogs.
- Cherry blossom stamp – Plastic bottles are great for decoration too if you know the right ways to use them. If you have a bottle like our 1LTR standard round bottle you can make beautiful Cherry blossom tree paintings. Simply draw your branches, put paint on the bottom of your bottle and like a stamp press the bottle onto the paper. Creating a graceful blossom tree.
- Recycling your bottles – Check the bottom of your bottle. You will see a number between 1 and 7 this will determine whether your bottle can be recycled or not. Take the cap off as most recycling centres don’t accept them. If you have many bottles consider crushing them to help save space in the recycling container or bin. Your bottle will then be taken a recycling centre where it will be melted down to make more plastic bottles and even clothing!
So when you go to throw away your bottles just remember that there are ways to recycle plastic bottles that are environmentally friendly and some that are fun! If you’re looking for a new stock of bottles please see our range here.
